RENTAL CONTRACT

ACCEPTANCE OF GENERAL RENTAL CONDITIONS FOR SKI AND SNOWBOARD EQUIPMENT

IMPORTANT: Carefully read the following general conditions before proceeding with the payment of your reservation.

By continuing with the contracting and making the payment for the service, the customer expressly accepts the General Conditions of the ski and mountain equipment rental service offered by the Pic Negre store (belonging to the company Pic Negre, SA.), which are available to the customer on this page and visible at all times in the store where the service will be provided. 

  1. Purpose of the Contract The purpose of this contract is to provide the ski and snowboard rental service, in accordance with the terms established on the establishment's website and in the information displayed visibly in the rental service store.
  2. Reservation Conditions 2.1. The reservation is considered valid only when the customer has completed all the necessary steps for contracting the service through our website, or directly at the store, including the acceptance of these general conditions and the payment of the corresponding amount. 2.2. The Customer acknowledges that they have read and understood the general rental conditions that are visibly available at the store's facilities, on the store's website, and/or in the information brochure provided. 2.3. The customer undertakes to provide accurate and truthful information when making the reservation.
  3. Prices and Payment 3.1. The prices of the services are clearly indicated on the Pic Negre website, as well as in the store where the service will be provided, and are final, except for typographical errors. 3.2. The total payment for the service must be made at the time of confirming the reservation through the payment methods enabled on the website or in the store. 3.3. In the event that the service cannot be provided due to causes attributable to the establishment, the customer may request a full refund of the amount paid.
  4. Cancellation and Modification Policy 4.1. The customer may cancel or modify their reservation under the conditions specified in the "Cancellation Policy" section of our website. 4.2. Cancellation conditions may vary depending on the type of service contracted, and may include penalties or partial refunds depending on how far in advance the cancellation is made.
  5. Customer Responsibilities 5.1 The Customer is responsible for the proper use and care of the ski and snowboard equipment during the rental period. 5.2 The Customer undertakes not to modify or damage the rented equipment, and to follow the usage recommendations provided by the Store. 5.3 The Customer undertakes to return the ski equipment before the end of the rental period, in the same condition in which they received it, in accordance with what is indicated in the contract. 5.4 In case of loss, theft, or damage to the equipment, the Customer undertakes to compensate the Store for the replacement value of the damaged or lost equipment, in accordance with the Store's rates, except in the case that they have contracted the SKI WARRANTY, offered by the establishment, in which case, the conditions that mark said product and that are visibly displayed in the store will be applied to them.

Limitation of Liability 6.1 The Store will not be liable for personal injury, material damage, or losses suffered by the Customer during the use of the rented equipment, except in the case of defects in the equipment itself that are attributable to the store. 6.2 The Customer accepts that the ski equipment is used at their own risk and that it is their responsibility to have adequate knowledge about its use and the conditions of the environment in which they will be skiing.
  8. Express Acceptance of General Conditions 7.1. The customer declares that they have read, understood, and accepted the general rental conditions, which are available at all times on the Pic Negre website and visibly in the store. 7.2. By clicking on the "Accept" button and proceeding with the payment, the customer is expressly accepting these conditions without reservation.
  9. Personal Data Protection 8.1. The establishment will process the customer's personal data in accordance with the provisions of our Privacy Policy, which is available on the website.
